Self-adhesive Sealing Film for Microplate, Clear prevents evaporation of liquid from the wells of a multi-well plate, reduces cross contamination between wells, lowers experimental errors and improves accuracy. 

It can be used to seal plates for ELISA, various colorimetric or fluorescent assays not exceeding 92ºC. The optical properties of this product are not suitable for fluorescence quantitative.

This sealing film is made of hot melt adhesive and can withstand high temperature of 92ºC water bath. At the same time, this sealing film has good adhesion, as long as it is not contaminated to reduce the adhesion, it can be repeatedly pasted 3-5 times.

Special Note: Reactions such as PCR over 92ºC will cause the film to melt, please use special sealing film; for top reading, tear off the film before measurement.

Please refer to Figure 1 for the size of this product, the total size is 8.2×13.9cm, the sealing part is 8.2×12.6cm, and the gripping part is 1.2×8.2cm, which is suitable for sealing 96-well, 384-well, 48-well, and similar sized microplates. 

One end of this product has a 1.2cm wide gripper design (as shown in Figure 1), which is not only easy to pick up and not easy to stick to hands or gloves, but also helps to accurately locate and quickly remove the sealing film after sealing.

This sealing film is transparent, which makes it easy to observe the color change inside the wells, but it is not suitable for applications that need to be protected from light, such as fluorescence assay, etc. If need to use a light-insensitive sealing film, please purchase Self-adhesive Sealing Film for Microplate, White (FSF021) or Self-adhesive Sealing Film for Microplate, Black (FSF025) from Beyotime.
