Synopsis :

 

"The Eminence in Shadow" (Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!) follows Cid Kagenou, who, after being reincarnated into a fantasy world, maintains a facade of mediocrity while secretly cultivating power as "Shadow" to combat a fictional cult, which turns out to be real. Season 1 and 2 adapt the light novel series, with the first season focusing on Cid forming Shadow Garden and confronting the Cult of Diablos, while season 2 delves deeper into the cult's schemes and Cid's evolving role. 

Season 1 Synopsis:

Cid Kagenou, reborn in a fantasy world, yearns to be the ultimate manipulator from the shadows, just like he fantasized in his previous life. He creates a secret organization called Shadow Garden, fabricating a story about a powerful cult called the Cult of Diablos that threatens the world. To his surprise, the cult is actually real, and Shadow Garden's fabricated narrative starts to align with the unfolding events. The season follows Cid's adventures as he navigates this world, leading Shadow Garden in their fight against the cult, all while maintaining his "ordinary high school student" persona. 

 

Season 2 Synopsis:
