1. Inflate your boat and thoroughly clean the area where you need to install D-rings. You may use a mild detergent to clean the area. Make sure to completely dry the area after you clean it.
2. Position the D-ring patch on this area and using a ballpoint pen trace the outline of the patch on the boat. Angle the pen inward a bit so that the patch covers the trace mark later.
3. Apply a thin layer of glue on the D-ring patch and the on boat with in the trace mark. Make sure that the glue is evenly spread on both the surfaces, no air bubbles.
4. Allow the glue to become tacky for about 10 minutes.
5. Put some heavy object of about 5-7 lbs. weight on the patch and allow it to dry for about 10-12 hours.
