What are the Grades? Wax Box Cards tries to follow industry standards for grading. Grades in titles are ranges. For example, when a card grades EX-EXMINT, it means we think the card is no less than a 5 and no better than 6.5. NRMINT is a 7 and a + is 7 or higher.
What does “Low Grade” mean? This is POOR to GOOD, which are the lowest grades. Low grade cards are between a 1 to 2.5.
What does “Filler” mean? These are low quality cards. The card is no better than a POOR (1) and is likely to include: CREASING, MARKS/WRITING, STAINS, PAPER-LOSS, RECOLORING, TRIMMING/CUTTING or other significant damage OR alteration.
There is a level of subjectivity to grading - so please ask questions or carefully review the high resolution scans for your own personal assessment.
