The heart of the design and extraordinary performance of Helios is the Spherical Technology, which uses the "Ball-and-and -ocketing" design developed in collaboration with Mips, market leader for the brain protection system to reduce rotational forces during a fall. The Spherical Technology allows the external cap of the helmet to rotate around the internal cap during an accident, and allows you to absorb the impact force thanks to the progressive layering, that is, the different density of the two caps. The external one is denser and therefore more rigid, while the internal one is less dense and therefore less rigid: during an impact the external cap acts as a shield by absorbing the impact and all roughness first while the internal cap behaves almost like a pillow protecting the cyclist's head. In addition to the advanced protection of the head, the Helios helmet offers 15 ventilation holes that provide exceptional refreshing power, our most advanced Roc Loc 5 Air cutter and the Ionic+, soft and antimicrobial padding, for an exceptional absorption of sweat.
