For sale is a very high quality, vintage Schwinn Phantom brass floor pump in excellent, seldom used condition. This pump was made in October 1997 when Schwinn was interested in re-popping and resurrecting the vintage Schwinn market. The country of manufacture is uncertain....probably Taiwan. This was a very limited item when made, is extremely rare and seldom seen today.
The pump is 28" tall. The original wood box is in amazing condition with the only "flaw" being a stain from oil that oozed out of the oil filled pressure gauge from sitting the last few decades. The gauge is near full and still has plenty of dampening oil in it. This stain can be seen just above the gauge in the first picture. The wood box measures 8" x 10.5" x 30". The pump is set up for presta valves and comes with 2 Silca Schrader heads. To convert, the hose will have to be cut, the Schrader head pushed into the hose end and hose clamped. The hose clamp is supplied. The handle is wood and is leather wrapped. There is a brass Schwinn badge in the center. While this pump is described as being in excellent condition there are very minor signs of wear and use....nothing objectionable and certainly nothing that detracts from its beauty. This pump will be professionally packed and sent insured. This pump was tested and it works as well as when made.

No returns or refunds.

This pump is part of an amazing collection of bikes and parts from the estate sale of Leigh Farrell. Leigh worked for me for many years and was in charge of assembly and prepping of our bikes for National, International and Olympic competitions. To say that Leigh was a mechanic is a gross understatement. He would hang parts on a bike (including my personal bikes), set them up and make them sing. If you are the eventual owner of this pump rest assured that the previous owner was one of the finest in our industry.

20% of the sale price will be donated to charity.

Thanks for taking the time to read all this verbiage and please check out literally hundreds of other parts and bikes that'll get put up as I get time to list them.

     Thanks again,
