This is a First Edition / First State of Louisa May Alcott's sequel to "Little Men" -- the third and last volume in the "Little Women" trilogy. 
First issue points include: 365 pages, plus one blank, plus 18 pages of ads; last title mentioned in ads is "A Flatiron For a Farthing." Text block measurers 1 1/16"; frontispiece portrait of Alcott with tissue-guard; light green floral endpapers; matching dates on title and copyright page.

Good condition. Brown cloth covers decorated in black and gilt show wear and two drops of candle wax on the back cover. Bumps at corners and wear on spine. Text is clean and unmarked except for a former owner's name in pencil on free end paper. Some light soiling and foxing. Hinge is cracked at title page and at page 273. A little paper loss on the edges of the back end papers.
