DESCRIPTION:
Collection of postcards of The Cat & Fiddle Pub in Macclesfield Forest Cheshire – history of the pub. 3 un-used and 1 used.
Postcard 1 Dennis – used
Postcard 2 Valentine – unused
Postcard 3 unknown – unused (crease on card)

History of The Cat And Fiddle:
In 1813 a local Silk Merchant called John Ryle purchased a plot of land next to a brand new turnpike road. Upon this plot, he built an Inn and as weather at this location was often inclement, and Mr Ryle’s Inn soon became a necessary stop when travelling between the towns of Macclesfield and Buxton. He named his Inn, The Cat & Fiddle. In 1931 The Robinsons family purchase the Cat & Fiddle and The Inn closes its doors on Christmas Eve 2014 for the last time as a pub. In 2019 Forest Gin moves into The Cat & Fiddle

If you live on non-mainland UK or the Highlands, please note your package may take longer to arrive and not necessarily meet the eBay deadline due to some areas taking 5 working days to deliver to. Also, your package may be sent by alternative courier.
As all my items are Buy it Now and require immediate payment. If you buy multiple items, I will, where possible, combine postage and issue a refund once I have wrapped all the items and purchased postage.
OVERSEAS BUYERS:
For overseas I post through eBay Global Shipping Programme (GSP) who sort all customs requirements out. If your country is not listed, please DO NOT contact me for postage rates and do not bid. I am sorry I cannot post to that location and your sale will be cancelled. Additionally, the postage rate for abroad is set by eBay via Global Shipping Programme not me so I am not responsible for the cost.
Unfortunately, I cannot combine postage for GSP - however, if you contact me regarding all the items you are interested in I can create a bespoke eBay listing with all the items and one postage cost on it, which should help you!
COLLECTION IN PERSON:
If you select collection in person, please note you need to bring your QR code with you. If you do not have your QR code (it will be emailed to you) I will not be able to give you your item as I have no proof that you have received the item. The sale will be cancelled and you will be refunded via eBay.
PACKAGING:
I pride myself on how I pack my items which is reflected in my feedback. All items are wrapped in multiple bubble wrap, the box is lined with protective materials such as air pockets, polystyrene sheets, foam and filled with eco beads to protect the items.
