Rare 18th Century Map of Bermudos & Providence Bahamas Herman Moll 1739 Dublin Two striking maps on one sheet showing Bermuda above and part of New Providence (Bahamas) below. The lower map depicts the modern-day location of Nassau on the northern side of New Providence, The smaller outlying Hog Island, since renamed to Paradise Island, is now the location of the famous Atlantis Resort. Map is by By Herman Moll originally printed in 1729 this state was Published in 1739 from the book Modern History or the present state of all nations vol. V part II being a continuation of the present state of America printed by George Grierson Dublin and dates 1739. Size Approximately 12” by 9” printed area is 10.5” by 7.75” Condition Good condition Map has some minor edge wear and there are a couple of creases down it with some light foxing.
