EBC Black Stuff brake pads

The 100% environmentally friendly friction material mixture, which no longer contains any sulfides, among other things, almost completely prevents brake flutter caused by pads. The Ultimax2™ pad mixture is free of metallic components, which makes it even gentler on the brake disc. Like all EBC brake pads in the automotive sector, all EBC Blackstuff Ultimax2™ brake pads are provided with a brake coating, broken edges, a heat groove and a powder coating.

The Ultimax2™ was tested for function and durability in three different climate zones, among other things. The use of premium brake discs is recommended for use with the Blackstuff brake pads.

Despite the very high quality and an optimal nominal friction coefficient, EBC recommends a pad from the “sports brake pads” category for sporty drivers and for very heavy or high-powered vehicles.
