EBC Racing RP-1 racing brake pads

The EBC Racing racing brake pads are the new flagship in the field of racing and competition brake pads. The RP-1™ mixture consists of a carbon-based aramid fiber material that is unrivaled in terms of braking performance, pedal feel/controllability and durability - and all with minimal disc wear. In contrast to most semi-metallic brake pads from other manufacturers, EBC uses a minimum of metallic components in the Racing RP-1, which makes it very gentle on the brake disc without negatively affecting the service life of the brake pad.

The EBC Racing RP1 brake pad is also able to cover new areas such as touring or NASCAR racing thanks to its performance. RP-1™ opens up new market segments at a price that is in some cases significantly lower than that of our main competitors, who are sometimes two to three times as expensive.

RP-1™ pad from EBC Racing has a medium initial braking force and a very stable coefficient of friction of 0.45 at a working temperature range of up to 750°C without brake fading.
