Diese Gitarre hat der Vorbesitzer - ein absoluten Blackmore-Fan - entsprechend seinen Vorlieben professionell modifizieren lassen:

Das Griffbrett wurde nach dem Vorbild der Blackmore Strat gescalloped - also eher moderat, und in die tieferen Lagen immer flacher ausfallend. Anders als z.B. bei der Malmsteen Strat, deren Griffbrett durchgehend hohe Wellenberge aufweist. Im Bereich der Bass-Saiten geht's erst etwa ab dem zehnten Bund dezent los mit dem Scalloping. Eine professionelle Arbeit von Peter Faustmann, Fire-Guitars.

Außerdem wurde ein per Mini-Switch zuschaltbarer, aktiver EMG PSA-1 Booster installiert. Damit lassen sich auch mit Singlecoil-Pickups singende Lead-Sounds verwirklichen.

Das Fender No Load 250 kOhm Tone-Potis steuert übrigens ebenso wie der Kollege nebenan alle Pickup-Kombinationen.

Und sonst:

Erlen-Body mit atemberaubendem Heavy Relic "Faded Candy Apple Red" Finish. Für den aktiven Booster mussten übrigens keine Fräs-Arbeiten vorgenommen werden. Ist also spurlos rückbaubar, falls gewünscht.

Ahorn-Hals ("60s Style Oval C" Profil) mit Palisander-Griffbrett (9,5" Radius), 21 6100 Jumbo-Bünden und Vintage Tuners.

Bestückt mit drei Handwound Texas Special Custom Shop Singlecoil-Pickups.

Ein klassisches Vintage-Tremolo rundet das stimmige Gesamtbild ab.

Gewicht: 3,6 kg.

Kommt genau wie abgebildet im originalen Custom Shop Case inklusive Zertifikat, Shop Floor Traveler und sämtlichem Zubehör.

Insgesamt eine extrem vielseitige Strat und nicht ausschließlich für Extrem-Shredder interessant. Das dezente Scalloping ist auch für "Normalspieler" bequem zu handhaben und bestens geeignet, sich ohne Reue diesem Thema zu nähern.

Top-Zustand, natürlich "Heavy Relic" - siehe Bilder. Die frisch polierten Bünde haben allenfalls 1-2 hauchfeine Spielspuren.

The previous owner - an absolute Blackmore fan - had this guitar professionally modified according to his preferences:

The fingerboard was scalloped along the lines of the Blackmore Strat - i.e. rather moderately, and increasingly flatter in the lower registers. In contrast to the Malmsteen Strat, for example, whose fingerboard has high ridges throughout. The bass strings only start scalloping discreetly from about the tenth fret. An active EMG PSA-1 booster, which can be switched on via a mini-switch, has also been installed. This allows singing lead sounds to be realized even with single-coil pickups.

The Fender No Load 250 kOhm tone pot also controls all pickup combinations, just like its colleague next door.

All in all an extremely versatile Strat and not only interesting for extreme shredders. The subtle scalloping is also easy to handle for “normal players” and ideally suited to approaching this subject without remorse.

Top condition, of course “Heavy Relic” - see pictures. The freshly polished frets have at most 1-2 very fine traces of use.
