RARE and unique vintage 3-piece office set featuring a pair of scissors, a ruler, and a letter opener. Branded by Shell, this set was likely given as a promotional or executive gift sometime in the mid-to-late 20th century.

Each piece shows a bit of age with some tarnishing, and the letter opener has a bit of corrosion on the handle. We’re not totally sure what kind of metal they’re made from, but it looks like brass (though we’re no experts).

The letter opener and ruler are accented with leather—on the handle of the opener and the center of the ruler. The ruler is embossed with the Shell logo, which gives it a nice extra touch.

The box has a few tears and nicks from storage, but overall the set still displays really well. It’s a great find for collectors of Shell memorabilia, vintage office tools, or mid-century desk decor.
