This was a brand new calculator that was opened and found to be defective.  Shortly after turning on it gets stuck - usually with dashes on the screen as pictured - but we've also seen other characters around the edges of the screen.  There is also a bit of minor darkening on the bottom left of the screen. The unit has only been used for a few moments and remains in otherwise Like New cosmetic condition.
