DESCRIPTION - BENIN (Marxist) - Nice original passenger license plate, rear yellow style - this is one of the short-lived "RPB" plates (Republique Populaire du Benin) - they were replaced with the standard "RB".

From the ALPCA archives (Legacy):  c1996 black/white; still have the UNPF prefix but the PF have been painted out

NOTE! after the UN troops were withdrawn as protection forces and replaced by NATO troops according to the Dayton Accord the Bosnian Government requested that the PF be obliterated from the plates because the concept of PF for Protection Forces was objectionable to them because they felt it provided no protection to Bosnian Muslims.
