For sale is an antique, heavy metal (iron?) sign bracket...the openwork design is quite striking...in used but good condition. From a local estate...see our eBay seller's list for more fresh finds. The flat frame, a right angle, measures about 18" by 16". The (also flat) openwork design is 2-dimensional but heavy, thick. The 18" side would support the sign for which there are 2 holes at either end for attachment. The 16" side would be attached to a wall and there are 3 holes for that purpose. We don't know if that silver paint is original but it is better on one side with more surface wear on the opposite side. No identifying marks. See all the pictures for the form, pierced design (including that nifty sun motif in the corner), construction, surface and condition which is good as noted. No breaks or cracks. No loose parts...all is solid with heavy-duty construction. Some expected, appropriate surface wear to the silver paint. Some light oxidization. It's in good shape.
