IMPORTANT
If you are buying used games on EBAY they will likely have grime, oxidisation, black marks & possibly some damage to the cartridge pins after 40 years of use.
This is not easy to see unless you take the cartridge apart.
You are buying these used cartridges and then putting them in your Nintendo console which scrapes the pins in to the cartridge slot and transferring the dirt, grime, oxidisation from the metal pins of the game to the metal pins on the cartridge slot so this can now slowly destroy your cartridge pins of your console.
Most people who had a NES console growing up had to blow into the game to make them work, this was a bad idea as this added moisture & cements the dirt and grime and allows corrosion and make it easier to transfer to the console even though it may have worked it causes more problems further down the line.

We fully strip clean & restore the game cartridges, we use electrical cleaner to loosen the filth and then use a light abrasive to scape each cartridge pin on both sides to remove anything ground in the contacts and a light acid for the most stubborn marks if needed all without damaging or removing the gold plating, we then finish with another clean to shine off the contacts.
We then photograph them so you can see what you are buying and can be assured you are buying a nice clean game that will much more likely play first time. (see our tips at the bottom of this listing on how you should get a game working rather than blowing into it)

REGION FREE YOUR CONSOLE
Many ebay sellers are selling region free NES consoles this is mostly done to help the console play normal UK games as the console has dirty corroded pins and the console is struggling to work properly as the lockout chip is detecting something isn't correct & will not play the game
So the seller disable the lockout chip and say its region free.
This is done by DAMAGING & BREAKING the lockout chip by snapping a leg of it. DOING IRREVERSABLE DAMAGE to the console.
This still doesn't allow all region of games to play smoothly as the UK console is set to 50hz whereas some other regions like USA and others were set to 60hz so those games are designed to run faster and you can get glitches or some just wont work on a UK pal console even with a damaged region free lockout chip

We have a 1000 in 1 NES cartridge which bypasses the region lock on a UK console and works exactly the same as the region free hacked console WITHOUT causing any unnecessary damage to the console or lockout chip.
It will work straight away and is loaded with all games ready to play. with this one cartridge in your console you don't need to be constantly changing cartridges to change games as they are all there on easy to use menus.
This reduces the use of the NES cartridge slot and stops bending and flattening the cartridge pins so it will last a lot longer before it needs servicing. It also reduces the wear on the games too as you can put your original NES games on display and there's no need to get dirt and grime on those anymore and you can just get them out for special occasions.
Also if there's a game you might want to buy you can try it out and see if you like it on the 1000 in one cartridge and if you don't like it , you have saved the money for a game you do want. If you don't want to you don't need top buy any games with this cartridge as they are all there ready to play as well as fan made hacks, homebrew and more.
We fully load these ourselves and change the menu to a more user friendly one and add the full UK set to this for a UK console other sellers that sell a similar cart will sell with all USA as they were originally aimed at the USA market we have both UK and USA on ours.
So this is a great multipurpose cartridge with a very high compatibility but not 100% so bear this in mind. also please note other sellers will not tell you but just the same as the region free hack as mentioned above this cannot change your console from a 50hz to a 60hz console and some other region games will not run because of that or have glitches however most games do run perfect and the run exactly the same as the original cart would.

TIPS TO GET A NES GAME WORKING
Do not blow on the cartridge as this just adds moisture.
Instead press the cartridge down and wiggle from side to side then turn on
if this isn't working try again but finish the side to side wiggle to the far left
and next try to finish at the far right of the pressed down position
run through this process 3 or 4 times till it works and if it still isn't working your game or NES console probably needs a service or at least a temporary clean
a lot of sellers on ebay also say they clean and test cartridges but they are unlikely to give it a proper clean and will just rub a cotton bud over the contacts this will help and is fine to try if your game inst working, just dry off thoroughly before use. this is only a temporary solution. But please note my games are cleaned properly to a shine not just to work temporarily and i strip them down this takes much longer but last a lot longer too. some sellers use harsh chemicals to quickly clean which dissolves the gold contacts making them damaged for good
