Each measures 17 1/2 inches wide side to side and 14 1/4" top to bottom. (ADULT sized as opposed to some of the smaller "decorative" ones you'll see listed)
They are new but are reproductions of the old seats used on tractors and farm implements back in the day.
You can leave them as they are, or further distress......seal OR paint yourself depending upon your needs.
There will be slight rust and/or scratches as this just happens when they're stored and stacked on top of each other.
Many people like to use these to build Bar stools and seats out of, while others just want to use them as rustic wall decor. You're limited only by your own imagination.
