This is the 1988 brochure for the 735i for the US market.

 

BMW introduced the new 7-series that set new standards for the luxury class automobile. 

 

BMW explains the technical innovations for the high-model 7-series.  Some of these are:

• Design
• New ellipsoid headlights
• “Digital Motronic” electronic engine management
• ABS braking system and Supplementary restraint systems (Airbags)
• Different transmissions available
• The on-board computer

 

In addition, there are lots of pictures showing all the details of the car.  Technical specifications plus basic equipment are addressed at the end of the brochure. 

Also included is an interesting promotional mailer that was sent to select customers to encourage test-driving the new 735i.  The bottom of one sheet has the gift offer cut off.  

 

Dimensions:                        approximately 8” by 11.5”, 30 pages incl. covers

 

 

Condition:                            Light scratches on the covers. Nice overall shape. 

                                              The included promotional mailer has the 'test drive gift offer' cut off.
