MLP Hasbro Rarity mini figure LIMITED EDITION

Rarity is a female unicorn pony and one of the main characters of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. She is Sweetie Belle's older sister and the subject of Spike's long-term crush. Rarity lives and works at her own shop in Ponyville called the Carousel Boutique, where she takes care of her pet Persian cat Opalescence. She represents the element of generosity.Lauren Faust was inspired to create Rarity by her childhood toy G1 ponies Glory and Sparkler. Rarity uses Glory's color scheme, Sparkler's cutie mark and appearance, and some mannerisms of G3 Rainbow Dash, like the Trans-Atlantic English accent and a tendency to flip her mane and say "darling". She shares her name with a G3 pony who was voiced by Cathy Weseluck, who voices Spike in the series. Concurrently with G4, a G1 version of G3 Rarity has been introduced in IDW Publishing's Transformers vs. G.I. Joe Issue #13. Rarity's tail is inspired by the hairstyle of the character Margaret Wade from the comic strip Dennis the Menace.Rarity recounts how she earned her cutie mark in The Cutie Mark Chronicles. As a filly, she dreamed of becoming a fashionista and tried to produce "spectacular" costumes for a school play, though her teacher referred to them only as "nice". Rarity felt discouraged after failing to redesign the costumes to her satisfaction and considered giving up the effort, whereupon her horn suddenly shone with bright light before pulling her far across the land and into a large boulder. Though initially upset at the seemingly pointless journey, Rarity became thrilled when the shockwave from a distant explosion cracked open the boulder to reveal a trove of gemstones inside. She incorporated the gems into her costumes, and as they drew awe from both her teacher and the audience on the night of the performance, her cutie mark appeared.

In Sweet and Elite, Rarity states that she was born in Ponyville.
