Up for sale is a vintage game of Mr. Silly’s Dominoes.  The game has a copyright of 1995 by Hargreaves and was made in the UK by TOMY TOYS. This is a very hard to find game.

The Mr. Men characters have appeared in several television adaptations since the 1970s. The most notable include the original 1974–1976 BBC series narrated by Arthur Lowe, a 1990s animated/live-action hybrid show, and The Mr. Men Show which aired on Cartoon Network/Channel 5 in 2008–2009.

Mr. Silly is a character found in the series of Mr. Men and Miss Little books created originally by Roger Hargreaves. Mr. Silly is a Mr. Man who lives in Nonsenseland where everything is very, very silly . . . including their games, for example this dominoes game.  Most dominoes have spots on them but not Mr. Silly’s dominoes. Oh, no!  Mr. Silly thought it would be a really silly idea to have a domino game with his Mr. Men friends on them instead of spots.

The directions for playing the game are on the back of the box. All 36 dominoes are still present and in excellent shape.  The dominoes are each made of thick 3" by 2" cardboard. The box also is in excellent shape with only minor edge wear.  There are no marks or stains.

It has been un-played since my ownership. I have kept the game stored away as a collectible.
