Nice antique ink well.

This is cast brass and was very nicely crafted and extremely sturdy.

Base has a place to rest pens or store other items.

Convenient lip on lid makes it easy to open ink well. 

Porcelain insert included

Nice natural patina on underside of lid, underside of base shows some patina, too.

Base measures about 6-1/2" x 7-1/2" x 6-1/2".  Outer circumference of ink well is 1-1/2".

This is a handsome piece that would make a fine addition to any collection!
