This extremely rare copy of "Greenwich Village's Cafe Bizarre Presents Assorted Madness, Beat Generational Poetry, Beat Erotica By The Beat And Unbeat" was recorded live in 1959 at the famous Cafe Bizarre in Greenwich Village and was only available for sale at the cafe. Rick Allmen sold copies of this private label LP which promised "Beat Erotica" and "Beat Generational Poetry" by the "Beat & The Unbeat" on the cover by some of the cafe's most infamous performers. This "blasphemous and vulgar" album is extremely hard to find in any condition today and is highly prized by collectors. This copy has some wear to the cover and has a few splits and some writing on the upper left front, as seen in pictures, but is still an attractive copy. The record is in much better shape with a few minor scuffs but nothing major, although it could use a good cleaning to remove almost 70 years of fingers prints and grime (we didn't dare clean it) Don't miss your chance to own this rare piece of Greenwich beatnik history as these rarely surface for sale!
