At a performance of The Magic Flute, a beautiful young woman is magnetically drawn to a handsome stranger. The two spend one magical night together resulting in a child. Though the father is never heard from again, Hungarian law states that every child by the age of three must have a father's name — even a ficticious one — so a false name is entered on his birth certificate. A Hungarian Fairy Tale tells the enchanting story of his adventurous search for a non-existent father.
