I took a trip back to Vietnam in 2009 (after being in the war in 68-69) and I went to an Antique Shop located in District 1 on Le Cong Kieu Street where I met and spoke to this woman pictured in this listing who owned a Bar on Tudo street back in the 1960's. She now owns her own Antique shop and this is where I bought a few of these Bugles. All she was able to tell me is that this was used by the NVA or VC during the Vietnam War. This Bugle is approx. 19 1/2" Long and is over 50 years old and has minor dings and patina but as expected this has been through the Vietnam war. Will make for a great addition to any collection.
