The second DRT × BackLash original custom color is designed to maintain a strong, well-defined silhouette in all conditions. The lure is painted over a specially prepared base coat, making it non-translucent and preventing light from passing through.

This design makes the color highly visible to fish even during night fishing, in heavily stained or muddy water, and in rough weather conditions.

Achieving this specific color tone was extremely challenging and required the use of 12 different paint colors. Various types of pearl finishes are applied to different sections of the lure’s surface. In particular, the side coloring was fine-tuned repeatedly so that its appearance changes depending on the viewing angle and light intensity.

The subtle color transitions reproduce the glossy appearance of real baitfish while combining it with the strong appeal of pearl finishes. Once detected by fish, it encourages confident and aggressive bites.

Field tests confirmed consistent catches in a wide range of conditions, including night fishing, heavily murky waters, low-light situations, and strong headwinds.
