Description: -  In vermilion whispers, autumn’s breath unfurls, A tapestry woven with fleeting sunfire swirls. Amber cascades over emerald’s last stand, Nature’s own canvas kissed by a master hand.

The work  is created using Oil Paint and Cold Wax Medium on 8" x 6" Arches Oil Paper. The finished work is mounted in 10" x 8" whitecore 100% acid-free using museum grade mounting tape

 

Materials: Oil Paint, Cold Wax Medium, Arches Oil Paper, Acid free mount board, museum grade mounting tape.

Size: Mount 10" x 8" and  1.4mm thick for 8" x 6" Display window.

Artist Bio

David  is an artist/musician working from Fife in Scotland.

 

 He works primarily in Acrylic and Oil/Cold Wax

 

 His artistic influences include Edward Dugmore, Otakar Kubín, Emil Nolde.

 

His musical influences include Brian Eno, Halftribe and Olafur Arnalds.

 

In 2019 David’s work ‘Onward’ was selected for The Royal Scottish Academy Annual Exhibition – Open Art, where it won the Muirhead Fund Prize and was bought by the RSA and can be seen in their online collections.

 

In 2020 David’s work ‘Family at the Beach’ was selected as Highly Commended at the Fife Art 2020 Open Artist Exhibition.

 

In 2022 David’s work ‘Edinburgh Summer Sunset’ was selected for a Curator’s Award in the  ‘Impressions of Home’ competition run by the Art Preservation Initiative.

 

 

In 2023 David produced a highly acclaimed solo exhibition entitled ‘Sonic Visions’, which consisted of a fusion of abstract artworks with individually accompanying soundscape music compositions.

 

In 2024 David has exhibited works at Six Foot Gallery in Glasgow, The Big Art Show in Paisley and Visual Arts Scotland Centenary Show at Dalkeith Palace near Edinburgh.

*Are one-off original artworks. Once this original artwork is sold, it cannot, and will not be replicated, but the artist as copyright holder, reserves the right to produce prints for sale of the artwork.

*Are ready to be hung if described with fixings attached as per photos of the rear of the frame or artwork.

All painting/artwork are carefully packaged using excellent quality materials to prevent any damage during transit, for example, acid-free- tissue paper, bubble wrap foam boards inside a specialist artwork cardboard parcel box.  

 

For UK buyers your painting will be dispatched using a tracked service: EVRI (with this service EVRI aims to deliver in 2-3 working days).

 

After full payment has been received, your artwork is normally dispatched the within 3  working days (Mon - Fri), not including bank holidays.

 

There is no local pick up on any of the paintings or artwork listed on eBay unless specifically described.

If a return is negotiated, the buyer will pay for postage and is expected to package the artwork in the original packaging for safe return.
