It is an excellent replacement for a large number of Marantz devices, including many power amplifiers, amplifiers, and tape decks. It may also be suitable for other devices. It is brand-new, and its quality is even better than the original one. We guarantee that it will work excellently for you. The wiring method of the buffer capacitor is the same as that of the original one. It can significantly reduce the load on the switch and greatly extend its service life. The last picture shows the wiring method of the switch, but the switch you receive is brand-new and not wired. The knob is equipped with a carefully crafted brushed aluminum knob cover, which is beautiful and exquisite. The diameter of the knob is 9.5 mm (0.37 inches), and the length is 14.5 mm (0.57 inches).
We additionally provide two mounting brackets. The spacing between the mounting holes is 20 mm for one and 25 mm for the other, and two screws and nuts are also included. The spacing between the mounting holes of many original Marantz switches is between 20 and 25 mm, which will make your installation and use more convenient.
The installation is simple. Just connect it in the same way as the old switch and replace the old buffer capacitor with the new one. If there is no buffer capacitor connected to your power switch, it may be connected to the AC power socket at the back, so just check the back and replace it there. If the old power switch has only 4 wiring terminals instead of 6, ignore the two wiring terminals closest to the stud on the new switch and only use the four terminals at the back. The last picture shows how this switch is connected in many Marantz devices.
The operation of replacing the switch involves the soldering and testing process. If you choose to replace it yourself (DIY), be sure to unplug the power switch before performing any form of electrical work. Before removing the old switch, it is recommended that you take several photos of the installation bracket and wire connections of the old switch with your mobile phone. These photos will be very helpful for you to install the replaced switch later.
