Extremely rare Allen Vincent (August 28,1903 - November 30, 1979) autographed 4" x 6" index card signed in black ink on November 12,1971. He was an American actor and Academy Award nominated screenwriter. He started as a stage actor in New York City before moving to acting in motion pictures in the late 1920s, then transitioning to screenwriting in the early 1940s. Known for Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933), Johnny Belinda (1948), The Face Behind the Mask (1941), The Return of Peter Grimm (1935), Army Girl (1938), Ladies in Distress (1938), A Family Affair (1937), Easy Money (1936), Sutter's Gold (1936), Chatterbox (1936), It's a Bet (1935), Bad Boy (1935), and others. All of the autographed index cards we are now listing are from the famous all in-person collection of George Buddy Marshall. He was an inveterate autograph collector and friends with Jon Verzi, often collecting together along with Ken Smith and Janet Bruce. Verzi and Buddy often traded cards between each other as noted at the bottom of some of these cards with his typical printed info with dates. This collection ended up in Jim Weavers hands another famous collector when Buddy passed. All of the notes on the back of these cards are in Jim Weavers hand with the exception of some of the Verzi notes at the bottom.
