Shutter speed range is 1/125 - 1 second, T and B. Lens stop range is f/5.6 - f/64. Weight is 3.4lb. Lens is 5" long. Needs 6x6" lens board. Lens is in Ex+/Ex++ or 8.5/9 of 10 cosmetic condition. NO dings or dents. Clean glass. Couple of very minor marks around on the barrel from prior use. Overall nice clean condition. No separation or scratches. Nice multicoating. Good working shutter. Smooth and clean shutter and aperture blades. Original retaining ring, and lens caps.

Super-Symmar HM is a very asymmetric construction with eight lens elements in six groups. It was designed by Hiltrud Ebbesmeier from Schneider and it was patented in 1988. The Super-Symmar HM was a larger image circle (80-82°). The image performance of the apochromatically corrected SUPER-SYMMAR HM with Multicoating consisting of 6 groups with 8 lenses meets the highest demands in large format photography. Thanks to the large image circle coverage of 356mm, lens displacements of the SUPER-SYMMAR HM are considerably increased, so that even extreme requirements will be met for an 8x10 camera.
