This Idle Down valve and cable replacement kit is used with the 510032 and 51ALD23 Vertical Axial pumps with Push Idle Control System.
Over tightening of the mounting bolt will result in the bolt breaking.
The banjo bolt manufacturer's maximum torque recommendation:
7-8 Ft lbs. / 88-96 In Lbs. / 10-11 N-M
Please install Idle Down Kit components in the proper sequence.
1) Install the new Valve Cap and torques to a maximum of 13 Ft lbs. / 159 In Lbs. / 18 N-M
2) Install the new Banjo Bolt and torque to a maximum of 7-8 Ft lbs. / 88-96 In Lbs. / 10-11 N-M
3) Re-install the previously removed cable retention bolts and torque to a maximum 7.3 Ft lbs. / 87.6 In Lbs. / 9.9 N-M
