In excellent condition.  The interior appears to be flawless: no damage, discoloration, odor, or writing except for the illustrator's signed inscription and a gift inscription from grama and grampa dated Christmas 2014.  The binding is solid and the boards are beautiful; the only flaws found are bumps at the top and bottom of the spine, and very small bumps at the top corners of the boards.  

This is a beautiful signed copy that is also the stated first edition and a presumed first printing.
