Installation Instructions:

• Remove fuse 70 in the glovebox, take off the negative battery.
• Remove upper filter housing and side covers.
• Loosen hose clamp,remove air filter.
  
• Loosen hose clamp, bolt and electrical connector from .Remove the air charge tube from throttle body.
• Remove the plastic vacuum hose from the bottom of the valve by squeezing the plastic ring and pulling off.
• Remove the four throttle body bolts and pull loose from intake manifold. Push to side out of the way.
• Grab the wiring harness and pull out and off of mounting bracket. Push out of the way.
• Disconnect engine block electrical connector behind fuel pump and from back of fuel pump.
• Remove the electrical connection, wiring bracket.
• Remove vacuum line that runs from the cylinder head cover to the auxiliary vacuum pump.
• Unscrew the nuts anchoring the intake manifold and remove it.
• Loosen the nut, Remove the two wiring harness bracket bolts, pull rear fuel line.
• Loosen the nut, disconnect the top fuel line from fuel rail then remove fuel line from engine .
• Unscrew the three mounting bolts , remove old fuel pump from vehicle
• Verify the new fuel pump comes with a new o-ring before installing.
• Make sure the auxiliary vacuum pump (where fuel pump mounts to) is clean.
• Install the new BMW high pressure fuel pump.
• Reinstall fuel lines, intake manifold, throttle body, air intake and cabin filter.Start car and test system.
