The FoodSaver Vac 420 is a vacuum sealing system designed for home use to preserve food. To effectively use the FoodSaver system, FoodSaver brand bags and rolls are required. Vacuum-packed meats preserved with a FoodSaver and stored in a freezer can last for two to three years. It is advised to replace the gaskets on the device annually to maintain an airtight seal. When sealing, it's best to use the "dry" mode unless sealing wet items, and to ensure there isn't too much liquid in the bag to prevent seal failure.   "Ships in Product Packaging" (SIPP)  reduces fulfillment costs and can help lower carbon foot printing!
