CONDITION

Vintage EXTRA FINE 1973 OHIO License Plate Set

Hard original die strike on both plates resulting in 4 vertical

small dents on each end of the plate. This was probably a

die near the end of its life.

Strong bright graphics and excellent foreground coloration

The plate with less edge patina does have a very small edge indentation.

Good reverses both plates with one showing more bottom patina.

52 year old examples

100% original

 These plates are from a home we recently flipped after restoring. It is part of a very

large collection of several hundred license plates covering cars, trucks, trailers, dealer plates

and motorcycles. I have not had time to even count them as they are arranged

in multiple boxes which were in the basement of the house. Most of the plates are Ohio but

there are some others from Canada etc. The earliest I've pulled appear to be from

1914. I'm far from an expert in this area, so I will describe them to the best

of my ability.
