The premise: in 2035, Tokyo is swallowed by light, and a mysterious red pillar erupts over the city. It becomes a portal to another world, and supernatural phenomena begin appearing around it. Fourteen years later, a demon named Mako and a human named Watanabe work for the private military outfit Seiho, putting down the anomalies that keep surfacing. Behind the scenes, a shadowy cult has launched a project to engineer a perfect, ultimate being through experiments that reach across dimensions. More than twenty characters move through this story, and you meet them here.
TERU builds the world through several forms at once. Alongside the illustrations you will find sketches, manga pages, and prose, plus the Enhanced Skeleton series that drew attention on social media and a substantial amount of newly drawn work created for this collection.
