You will require a 12 Volt Battery to operate this model of fence energiser.

If you use a 50Ah Battery, the battery lasts around 19 days. Thus, using a standard automotive battery would be more sufficient.

Please keep an eye on your battery. Preferably, keep the battery in a plastic battery box or container to protect it from the weather, and where possible keep it off the ground to prevent self-discharging.
