These are two authentic Hofbräuhaus München beer steins, bearing the iconic "HB" logo that has been a symbol of Bavarian brewing tradition for centuries. The Hofbräuhaus's history dates back to 1589 when it was founded by Duke Wilhelm V of Bavaria as the royal brewery. Originally serving the Wittelsbach royal family, it later opened its doors to the public and became a beloved Munich institution. The "HB" mark, short for "Hofbräu" (court brewery), signifies this rich heritage. These steins, likely crafted from durable stoneware with pewter lids, were made to hold generous portions of Hofbräu beer, keeping it cool and protected. They represent a tangible piece of Munich's cultural history and the world-renowned beer hall experience. One stein has a 1-liter capacity, while the other has a 0.5-liter capacity. We have chosen not to clean these steins to preserve their original patina and historical character.
