The PCD (PhotoCD) files on the Corel CD-ROM should be converted to the JPG format (or other image formats) to increase their compatibility with graphics applications. As a courtesy to our customers we provide the PCD image files on the Corel CD-ROM(s) that they purchase in the universal JPG image format and make them available to download. JPG files are compatible with most software. They are used extensively on the internet, in emails, word processing documents and graphic design projects.

The following files will be provided to download:

Windows Operating System - Step-By-Step Instructions explaining how to open or unzip a password protected file:

1)	Windows Operating System - Built-in Windows Tool
	a) Find the file. Locate the compressed (.zip) folder on your computer.
	b) Right-click the folder and select "Extract All..." from the menu.
	c) Choose a destination. A new window will appear. It may automatically suggest a destination folder, but you can click "Browse" to choose a different location.
	d) Click "Extract." A box will pop up asking for the password. Type or paste the password we provided and press "OK" or "Enter."
	e) Access your files. The unzipped files will now be in the destination folder you chose.

2)	7-Zip is a reliable, free, and open-source option to unzip files (see instructions for Windows below)
	a) Download and install 7-Zip from the official 7-Zip website.
	b) Find the file. After installation, right-click on the password-protected zip file.
	c) Select 7-Zip from the context menu, then choose "Extract files..." or "Extract Here".
	d) Enter the password. A pop-up window will appear. Enter the password and click "OK" to extract the files.

Macintosh (macOS) Operating System - Step-By-Step Instructions explaining how to open or unzip a password protected file:

1)	Macintosh Operating System - Built-in macOS tool (Archive Utility)
	a) Locate the file. Find the compressed (.zip) folder in your Finder.
	b) Double-click the file. The built-in Archive Utility will automatically open.
	c) Enter the password. A password prompt will appear. Type or paste the password you were provided and click "OK."
	d) Access your files. The unzipped files will be placed in the same folder where the original zip file is located.
	e) Access your files. The unzipped files will now be in the destination folder you chose.

2)	How to use The Unarchiver to unzip files (for macOS)
	a) Download and install The Unarchiver from the Mac App Store.
	b) Find the file. Right-click the zip file, go to "Open With," and select "The Unarchiver."
	c) Enter the password when prompted to extract the contents.

We maintain anti-virus software in our production environment and we scan all files prior to distribution to our customers.

The Corel License applies to the use of the photos provided via download just as it applies to the original Corel CD-ROM.

As required by copyright law, we only provide the converted JPG image to customers that purchase the corresponding Corel CD-ROM. Should ownership of the original Corel CD-ROM be transferred, the JPG files we provide must be transferred with it or, destroyed.

Preview All 100 Photos On The Corel CD-ROM

1.	Be sure to preview all 100 photos that are included on the Corel CD-ROM.
2.	The preview photos were compressed for quicker downloading which made them appear fuzzy. The original photos on the CD-ROM as well as the JPG files provided via download are high resolution and clear.
3.	The text "ebay ID: Eyefularts" is a watermark that does not appear on the original photos on the CD-ROM or the JPG files provided via download.

The Corel License Protects Users

The use of copyrighted photos that are assumed to be in the public domain, or photos created by artificial intelligence (AI) that closely resemble pre-existing copyrighted works may subject the users of these photos to claims of intellectual property rights infringement and potential law suits where their use was not authorized by the copyright holder(s). Corel photos are owned and licensed by Corel Corporation obviating concerns about intellectual property rights infringement.

1990's Technology and Subject Matter

Corel Photo CD-ROMs were produced in the 1990's. Despite their age, most Corel photos are ageless and useful for projects today. The photos were scanned from 35-mm film or slides at high resolution (based on 1990's standards) and saved onto CD-ROMs in the Kodak PhotoCD (PCD) format. The appearance of some photos may reveal the technical limitations of the 1990's hardware and software that was used to take the photos and produce the CD-ROMs. When compared to modern stock photography, these technical limitations may have produced photos that some consider to be dated or imperfect. However, these particular photos have a nostalgic quality that adds authenticity to projects requiring photos from that time period because their appearance is consistent with the technology that was in use at that time. Furthermore, the authenticity is reinforced when the subject matter in the photo includes content related to the 1990's way of life (i.e. hairstyles, clothing, vehicles, etc). Aside from those photos containing subject matter indicative of the era in which they were taken, most Corel Photos are timeless. Be sure to review the photos in the auction so that you know what they depict.

Corel CD-ROMs Are Compatible With Windows and Macintosh Systems

Corel CD-ROMs are compatible with Windows and Macintosh systems. On Windows systems the photo files can be accessed using the File Explorer application to navigate to the "COREL" directory. On Macintosh systems the photo files can be accessed using the Finder application to navigate to the "COREL" directory.

* The Kodak software listed below is on every Corel CD-ROM. The software was produced in the 1990s and may not install successfully on modern operating systems.

D. TERM: This License shall continue for as long as you use the Product. However, it will terminate if you fail to comply with any of its terms or conditions. You must agree, upon termination, to destroy all copies of the Product. The Limitations of Warranties and Liability set out below shall continue in force even after any termination. E.
