The RAID controller coordinates them and groups them together to manage read and write access. The controller offers a PCIe x8 3.0 port as well as 8 internal ports for SATA or SAS drives via 2 miniSAS SFF-8643 ports. It has 2 GB cache on board as well as an integrated maxCache 4.0 battery module. It’s universally compatible with all known brands. The delivery includes full and low profile brackets.
