This souvenir continues a family of a souvenirs of the Soviet period issued in hon our of the first satellite, flight of the man in space and the further conquest of space.

Very rare souvenir even in Russia.

On April 12, 1961, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on the Vostok-1 spacecraft and made an orbital flight around planet Earth for the first time in the world.

The flight in near-Earth space lasted 108 minutes.
