The controller has been stripped and buttons cleaned to remove 30 years of grime

DON'T BUY USED CONTROLLERS ON EBAY BEFORE READING THIS

If you buy a used controller on eBay it will likely be well used and the carbon contacts will have rubbed off carbon residue off the pads onto the circuit board connections. The circuit board now struggles to recognise when the carbon pad touches the board as there is already carbon on the board. This leads to delayed reaction and eventually the buttons won't work. A lot of used controllers need to press really hard to get responsiveness. They will also have gunged up buttons and dust all over the board. EVEN THOUGH THEY MAY SEEM TO WORK they don't work as well as they should and they won't be  getting better but only get worse and less responsive.

We RESTORE these by stripping it down getting all the carbon build up off the contacts by using a light abrasive and electrical cleaner and roughing up the contacts that have become too shiny

Membranes are roughed up to remove shine or replaced with new if they are broken or cracked

(very important for responsiveness)

This now works perfectly and buttons respond in perfect timing

(So when you die in the games you can't blame it on  this pad it's on you)

Old snes games require precise button presses and precision timing so if you buy a old used snes controller it will need it's contacts cleaned or just buy one of my cleaned tested ones save yourself the job

This controller is still used and may have marks or scratches ect  but the performance is what you buy it for and it should last a long time again now

There won't be any cracks or strong yellowing and it will be working perfectly
