Product Description:
This is a control board for a dryer. This part manages several essential dryer functions including drying temperature and cycle time.
The electronic board will need to be replaced if the error code F-01 appears on the display. The control board may also need to be replaced if the console won't light up at all and the dryer is plugged into a working outlet. When replacing the control board for a dryer, first ensure the device is unplugged from the wall. A .25 inch nut driver is needed to remove screws from the back of the dryer in order to remove the top panel.
Use protective gloves when removing the old control panel and installing the new panel. This item works with Whirlpool, Maytag, Kenmore and Amana dryers. It is sold as a single unit. The control board is an authentic replacement part that is directly sourced from the manufacturer.
