Lightweight Flexplate for GM LS Designed for GM LS1 engines, this SFI 29.2, 1-piece flexplate weighs only 6.09 lbs and is made from 4140 forged steel and features a hobbed-on ring gear and robotic tig-welded converter spacers. Gas nitriding creates extra surface harness and strength while E-coating delivers corrosion protection. CNC-milled pockets and lightening holes reduce rotating mass and decrease weight. Built to withstand 12,000+ RPM, this flexplate delivers more power to the rear wheels by reducing rotating mass.
