For a full range of motion, articulation in shoulders and elbows allows unrestricted action with the ability to layer underneath, and matte #5 Vision center zipper with back flap is watertight and easy to operate during frigid conditions with or without gloves. Additional quick ventilation can be found using pit zippers that are also water-tight, and the StormHood™ blocks drafts protect the neck and are made to fit over helmets. Two chest pockets on the Arc'teryx LEAF Alpha Jacket LT GEN 2.2 are also designed to work with load carriage equipment and have media ports to allow for internal routing of communications cables with internal chest pocket featuring HemLock™ removable foam inserts to keep the jacket hem in place and avoid riding up under a harness and hip belt.
