UNOPENED 1990 FLEER BASEBALL - 16 Wax Packs. These are in the original FLEER packaging, with no tears and the wax seals are still intact. The UPC is: 0-41199-00411-0. Please examine photos. The packaging appears to be in Excellent condition.The cards inside are presumed to be free of creases or other obvious damage, and are presumed to be in excellent to near-mint condition, as produced. Please note that each pack has potentially one card (or sticker) with a wax stain.
The photographs were taken of 16 packs, all of which are in similar condition.
Your purchase will be 16 packs, each containing 15 cards for a total of 240 cards. Each pack includes a sticker card. The sticker cards have an individual team logo (large, 26 different), or 4 team logo stickers (smaller size) on a card (12 different). Wax packs may contain the insert "1990 ALL-STAR TEAM", which are randomly inserted into wax packs. There are 12 different; these are also inserted randomly in cello packs.

The 1990 Fleer regular issue set consists of 660 cards. Both the fronts and backs are vertically orientated. The fronts have a white border. Offset from the edges is the photo border; borders are color coordinated by team. The player's head and/or photo extend outside the color border at the top. The backs have a white border, with blue and red ink. Year-by-year statistics are included. The lower one-fourth of the back has a "Vital Signs" comic-type cartoon with statistical info/ratios based on either a pitcher or hitter comparison. Fleer marketed the 1990 cards as "10th Anniversary Edition", as it was their 10th consecutive set of current players. Starting in 1981, Topps no longer had the exclusive right to issue cards of current players, as Fleer (and Donruss) joined the market.
There are 620 cards of individual players. In typical Fleer methodology, players on a team are grouped and numbered consecutively (i.e., numbers 1 through 24 are all Oakland A's, numbers 25 though 49 are Chicago Cubs, etc.). There are 10 Player of the Decade cards, 9 multi-player cards, 14 multi-player Rookie cards, and 7 checklists.
The 1990 Fleer set includes the rookie cards of LARRY WALKER, JUAN GONZALEZ, SAMMY SOSA, DAVID JUSTICE, KENNY ROGERS*, GREG VAUGHN*, MARQUIS GRISSOM, KEVIN APPIER*, MOISES ALOU (shared card #650), DELINO DeSHIELDS, and others! Note: * indicates this is considered player's regular issue Rookie card, but previous cards issued in a "Rookie" or "Rookie/Traded" small set during a prior year.
As with any unopened pack, there is a random selection with no guarantee as to the cards/players inside. With luck, you may pull
one or more of the many rookie cards!
