Delightful  knitting pattern for 18"/19"      Girl Dolls Mohair Cardigan, pull on Hat and Trousers.

Cardigan and hat  knitted in Mohair wool. 

I used Rico Fashion Glitz mohair but any Mohair wool which knits to a tension of 13 sts and 18 rows to 4" on 5.00 mm needles should work.

Trousers knitted in double knitting wool. (from your stash!!)

 

18"- 19" will fit  Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl, New Sindy.

Cardigan knitted on size  5.00 mm and  4.50 mm needles. 

Trousers knitted on 4.00 mm and 3.5 mm needles.

This cardigan is knitted in one piece from the base up. Sleeves are knitted separately and stitched in the raglan edge.

It's fairly easy to knit in stocking stitch with a rib front border, (knitted in with main body of work). 

Great to use up wool from your stash! Jumper takes one 50 gram ball of Faux Fur wool, the trousers  take 50 gm double knitting wool.

My Grand daughter loves her 18"Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her 'Knitting Nanny Mo' to design and knit some for her. This is such an easy pattern you can quickly and easily knit up multiple sets in all sorts of colours to the delight of your little one.  I hope you enjoy knitting this outfit as much as I did!
