Hi! You're looking at an excellent condition book which is RARE, hard to find and OUT OF PRINT and a classic anthropological study of the Andaman Islanders of Andaman Island off the coast of Myanmar (Burma) written by A. R. RADCLIFFE-BROWN--the book is a 1964 STATED FIRST EDITION softcover copy. This book is in excellent condition and has a very faint musty scent which is not easily noticeable (I mention this in case of allergy sensitivities), a couple of light creases on the spine edge, a tiny owner's name on the upper edge of the title page a small ding on the lower right tip of the front cover and slight ding on the lower left corner of the back cover, slight dings on the spine tips, slight bowing of the opening edge of the front cover and just slight shelfwear and very light evidence of gentle browsing but no other significant imperfections! The book is titled The Andaman Islanders and it was written by A. R. RADCLIFFE-BROWN; it was published by The Free Press of Glencoe in 1964 and is a STATED 1st EDITION copy.
This is an investigation of the physical characteristics, language, culture and technology of the primitive Andaman Islander society based on research carried out between the years 1906 and 1908.
A fantastic find, and a beautiful copy of this book!
Thanks for looking, and good luck if you're bidding! Also be sure to check out all of my other great books currently listed on ebay auctions--I can combine shipping for multiple purchases!
