Byrne to two charges of mailing scurrilous and defamatory postcards to his former wife, columnist Sheila Graham, (shown). The plea was entered after the judge ruled the two postcards did not come within the privilege of husband-wife communications, as insisted by defense attorneys.Photo measures 8 x 10.25inches.
