Please email with any questions. Vintage figural corkscrew disguised as a skeleton key, 5" long, stamped GERMANY, grape and heraldic shield decoration on the handle. The working part of the key is a sheath for the corkscrew and can be removed with a slight twist which also locks it in place for safety. Stainless steel corkscrew is about 2" long. There is a small loop at the top of the handle so that the key can be hung when not in use. Nicely made and weighty for its size, brass has been intentionally patinated to give it an ancient appearance.
